Sisters Lee Hye Won and Lee Hye Ji were very close when they were children. After their parents divorced, they were separated. Lee Hye Won went to live with her father, and Lee Hye Ji went to live with her mother. Their lives went down different paths, but they both went through difficult times.
As an adult, Hye Won looks perfect, but she carries emotional wounds. Her life is dominated by her stepmother. Her fiancé is Yoon Ji Chang, and they are going to marry soon. Yoon Ji Chang is the son of Yoon Yi Cheol, who owns JY Group.
Meanwhile, Hye Ji has lived through poverty, loneliness, and domestic violence due to her mother and her stepfather. She badly wants to change her life and takes up the new name of Bae Do Eun. She then meets Yi Cheol, who is the owner of JY Group. To reboot her life, she enters into an affair with Yi Cheol.
