Riky Rick final tweet before taking his life has gone viral gaining over 14,000 retweets on the micro blogging platform.
The popular South African rapper, Rikhado Muziwendlovu Makhado, had shared a disturbing tweet before reportedly committing suicide.
Ricky who allegedly hung himself with a rope after suffering from severe depression died at the early hours of the day after being rushed to the hospital.
Hours before his death, he had tweeted;
“I’ll return a stronger man. This land is still my home.”
The two statements are both lines from the singer’s 2020 released song titled, Home.
In Home, Riky references the challenges of fame and the pressures of the “brutal” industry he is in.
