Popular American rapper, Kanye West, who is running for president, broke down in tears during his first campaign rally as he spoke about abortion.
Kanye claimed his dad wanted him aborted and his wife Kim Kardashian considered aborting their first child North
The 43-year-old rapper hosted the first rally in his bid to join the US presidential election on Sunday in South Carolina.
At one point, the 43-year-old discussed Planned Parenthood and abortion and revealed he and his wife considered not going ahead with the pregnancy when the reality TV star was expecting North. He said;
‘My mum saved my life. My Dad wanted to abort me… My mum saved my life, there would have been no Kanye West because my dad was too busy.’
‘She was crying… and for one month and two months and three months, we talked about her not having this child. She had the pills in her hand.’ He continued.
‘I’m in the apartment where my wife was actually robbed, and I have my laptop up and I have all of my creative ideas, I’ve got my shoes, I’ve got my next song cover… and the screen went black and white. And God said, “If you f**k with my vision I’m gonna f**k with yours”.
‘And I called my wife and she said, “We’re gonna have this baby”, and I said “We’re gonna have this child.’
Kanye West made it clear during the rally that he is anti-abortion and that every mother should be paid $1 million (£792,000) in a bid to prevent abortion.
