(1) IN A BRIEF DESCRIPTION, TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF.
My name is Adedayo Babalola (a.k.a Dayo Flow). I hailed from Osun state, Iwo to be precised.
I attended ijegun local government primary school where I finished my primary level classes.
Later, I attended Ijegun comphresive high school where I obtained my SSCE certificate then I forthermore to Lagos state polytechnic (LASPOTECH) to obtain my Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy.
I’m from a family of 8 and am privilege to be the second to the last born.
(2) HOW DID YOUR GOT INTO MUSIC?
It all started way back from my childhood at Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) oke-anu, many years back during my teenage days. I joined the children choir, later moved to teenager’s choir then from there I got promoted to join the adult’s choir and since then music has been part of my life style which I can’t do away with.
(3) WHAT’S YOUR PASSION ABOUT MUSIC?
My passion for music is that I love to sing at all time. whenever I sing I feel so excited and most time keep aside all my worries, especially singing Christian songs. It’s like food to my soul.
(4) TELL US ABOUT WORSHIP TRINITY 1.0
Wow! Worship Trinity is a big dream to me and it has been a long time vision have been praying for whenever I found myself in the gathering of big congregation or music concert.
I always pray that one day I will achieve this, actually 4month ago when my birthday was approaching I was alone in d house meditating, sunddenly, I was hearing a background voice saying “you can do it” continuously and immediately I picked up my phone to call someone to narrate what I experienced.
I told the person that I want to celebrate my birthday this year (2022) by organizing a praise concert. It was as if the person has been expecting me to call him to say something related. During the conversation, he replied ‘YES’ you can do it. Then immediately we started planing for it.
Then after like 2days he called me and said I should go to God I’m prayers to hear what God has to say.
On getting home I started the prayers. When I got home that night I couldn’t sleep because I was just meditating on how to go about the planning and the rest.
At midnight, I started prayer around 3:30am then later slept off while praying. While sleeping I heard a voice saying “WORSHIP TRINITY).
Immediately I knew it was God talking to me on the theme for the concert which I believed is going to be a great and global program soon.
(5) WHAT ELSE ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT ASIDE MUSIC?
I love traveling and exploring new ways to improve myself mentally and intellectually. And I’m also passionate about business. You can call me a business woman. That creates more avenues for me to meet people.
(6) HOW DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN THE NEXT 5 YEARS?
Hmmmmm whao!!! Next five years? Ok, I am seeing myself as a global gospel minister winning souls for the kingdom of God and I so much desired to set up an Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) aiming at improving the state of the natural environment, encouraging the observance of human rights, improving the welfare of the disadvantaged, or representing a corporate agenda.
(6) YOUR ADVICE TO UPCOMING ARTIST IN THE INDUSTRY?
An advice to those aspiring to get into the gospel music industry.
My warm advice to those aspiring to be a gospel artist is to be prayerful, move closer to God, to be dedicated and have a positive Convictions to be sure of what they can do because bible says, “I can do all things through Christ that strengthen me”.
I will also advised them to be focus and wait for their time. Also be creative in your talent, that will make stand out. Keep pressing and pushing because the Bible says in Ecclesiastes 3:1 that says there is time and season for everything” and they should never give up.
