Everton want to sign Chelsea ace this summer, Lampard already made contact

Everton want to sign Chelsea youngster Conor Gallagher in the summer and Frank Lampard has already made contact about a deal, according to TEAMtalk.

Gallagher has enjoyed a brilliant season on loan with Crystal Palace so far this year, scoring seven goals and registering three assists in 21 Premier League appearances so far.

His form has caught the eye of new Everton boss Lampard, who will know all about him after his time at Stamford Bridge as manager.

According to TEAMtalk the Chelsea legend has already spoken to them to register Everton’s interest in signing Gallagher in the summer if the club choose not to use him in their first team.

The report claims it would likely be another loan deal and Lampard has moved to ensure that the Toffees are at the front of the queue for any potential transfer.

Game-changer

If you’re an Everton fan, this is a deal that you absolutely love the look and sound of.

Not only because of the obvious quality that the player has, but also because it shows that the club are planning for the future and are ready to back Lampard in the transfer market.

Donny Van de Beek and Dele Alli joined on transfer deadline day, with the former signing on loan for the remainder of the season.

While reports suggest he would like to stay if Everton can avoid relegation, it’s unknown whether a deal would be possible to do and this could be the Toffees planning for his potential departure.

It’s also possible that Lampard could look to pair them together in some capacity if he managed to keep him at the club beyond the summer, but Blues fans seem to have something to finally look forward to.
