Barcelona legend Ronald Koeman has returned to the club to take charge as head coach.
His appointment is the latest action by the club following the embarrassing 8-2 defeat against Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-final.
The club sacked head coach Quique Setien on Monday followed by the axing of sporting director, Eric Abidal.
Koeman has been handed a two-year contract is expected to make bold decisions, including dropping some key players, as the club looks to recover from a disappointing campaign.
Koeman is best remembered by Barcelona fans for scoring the only goal as the club won its first Champions League title in 1992 against Sampdoria.
