As we said, the story is carried forward in Gadar 2 from the earlier movie Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. In the first movie, the love story of truck driver Tara Singh was shown in the backdrop of India’s partition. Gadar 2 is set in 1971 during the Indo-Pakistani War. In the movie, Tara Singh goes on a mission to get his son Charanjeet back from Pakistan. He faces many challenges on this mission and travels through potentially dangerous areas.
Tara Singh does not hesitate to put himself in challenging and dangerous situations given the love he feels for his son. He does not hesitate to go through the areas where war is happening with courage and determination. He goes courageously to rescue his son from the Pakistani soldiers who are torturing him after imprisoning him by the orders of Major General Hamid Iqbal of Pakistan’s army.
